Organo Gold

I feel like taking a long break of at least 1 week from all the work and stress. There should be a work-life balance and it is no point working hard for the money without some form of recreation and breaks. This could be a stressful situation to be in. I think I need an assistant to help me out, but my boss trusts me to do all the computer work. I am blessed to have a job to work in a home office since early 2004 until today. I save lots of money on traveling, make-up, office clothes, etc. And most of all, I save lots of precious time from commuting to work by car. But nevertheless, check out Organo Gold by clicking on the link given.

Visalus

I took some cough mixture this morning and now feel very drowsy from the effects. Luckily, I work in a home office, so I don't have to apply for MC. Work with the company will never end. There will always be new inquiries to attend to and quotations to type. I just had a nap and feel like taking another nap to hopefully quickly recover from a bad sore throat. Later this evening, have to go down to Kuala Lumpur for business and this will take another 5 hours on the road. In the meantime, you can check out Visalus, by clicking on the link given to find out more information.

Cartoon

In my youth, I recall spending time watching Cartoon on the telly and get entertained for hours on end. It was funny and hilarious. The animations were just superb. Now with 3D technology, the pictures and animations are even better! But you have to wear 3D glasses for the special 3D effect in the cinemas. There are also 3D technology televisions but they are still very costly at this point in time. Nevertheless, it will be some years before every household owns a 3D telly at home. I love how innovation makes our lives so much easier and livelier. Thanks to researchers and scientists, our lives have improved by leaps and bounds.

I Love Food

I love gourmet dining at any Chinese restaurant and currently have the financial means for some pampering almost every day. But I guess when I retire, then I may have to eat street food or hawker food instead of restaurant dishes. My friend is rather generous and I get free treats often and as long as we have incoming projects, this can sustain our lifestyle for some time to come. Otherwise, most people in their retirement years will either cook at home that is much cheaper or take hawker food just like my parents. Mum is lucky in the sense that she does not have to cook and we daughters are footing their expenses with monthly allowance of $600 and for my case, $650. I am a little obese now, but have to watch my diet so that I can stay within the healthy range.

Yaz Litigation

I used to work for an aunt who is an attorney and solicitor in Singapore. She has her own office in the business district of Shenton Way. I was just a temporary secretatry while looking for a permanent job elsewhere. So, to tide over, she employed me on a temp basis and this is where I learnt a bit about her law business. She was doing mainly conveyancing law, that is sales and purchase agreements of properties which is very lucrative as compared to doing yaz litigation.

But nevertheless, whatever area of law you are doing, it is service to the nation as a whole and you can never discount the contribution to society. People at large need litigation for criminal law to defend their cases in court. You will need someone articulate and gung-ho, with the ability to convince the person is innocent and fight for his case in a civil lawsuit.

River Prawns at House of Udang Galah (HUG), Penang

river prawns at house of udang galah (HUG) penang

Penang’s latest eatery serving giant river prawn is House of Udang Galah (HUG). Located on Hutton Lane, the restaurant housed in two renovated heritage shop houses offers fresh udang galah (giant river prawn) cooked in many different ways. Italian, Western, Malay, Indian and Chinese method of cooking is offered. The prawns are cut into halves and cooked with the head and shell intact.

One of HUG specialties is the Udang Galah in Chef Specialty Lime Sauce. The prawns steamed with garlic, chilli and ginger, made up a perky and appetising dish. Garnished with Chinese parsley, the dish costs a little fortune at RM109 (730g at RM15/100g).

scallops in Mongolian sauce

We ordered scallops in Mongolian brown sauce which has a piquant taste, and garnished with a mini happy Buddha and green parsley. This dish was tantalizing with the succulent scallops infused with the Mongolian sauce flavour.

sweet and sour fish

The above is sweet and sour fish topped with cut vegetables and drizzled with a combination of sauces like tomato sauce, vinegar, a dash of sugar, salt to give its distinct flavour that complements the fish fillets.

watermelon juice and cappuccino

The meal is not complete without an order of drinks with fresh watermelon juice for me and a cuppa of hot cappuccino for my friend.

yam dessert with gingko

To complete the meal, we had yam dessert with gingko. The texture was smooth, sweet and flavourful.

house of udang galah restaurant ambience

This is the ambiance of the House of Udang Galah (HUG) restaurant. Udang Galah, also known as “Giant River Prawn” or “Malaysian” prawn, is native to Southeast Asia – typically in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Many years ago, Udang Galah was very common among the natives, who would capture and cook them fresh to preserve the aromatic taste and succulent texture of the flesh. Today, Udang Galah is no longer known to many Malaysians.

In fact, Udang Galah is part of our national food heritage. This large-sized fresh water prawn, which has a very big head in comparison to its entire body, can only be found in very few local menus. However, they are highly priced and hence, not a affordable choice to many. This is why we came up with this unique concept restaurant, the House of Udang Galah where everyone can see it, feel it, taste it and think of it always!

The House of Udang Galah is a unique concept restaurant that provides unrivaled fresh Udang Galah cuisine in a variety of styles you can choose, from an affordable price. Udang Galah served on your table are freshly cooked from live stock. Whether you prefer it in Italian, Western, Malay, Indian or Chinese, you will find their menu satisfying.
